Apple Search Ads.

Also called: ASA, Apple Ads

Apple’s ad platform for promoting apps in App Store search results and other App Store placements, bought on keywords.

Apple Search Ads lets advertisers bid on search queries in the App Store, which makes it one of the few mobile channels with explicit intent. It is often a strong channel for branded and category keywords, and its attribution works within Apple’s privacy framework.

Because it captures users already searching, some of its installs may have happened organically. Measuring incrementality — especially on branded terms — matters before crediting it fully.
