Definition

UA cash runway.

How long a studio can sustain a given acquisition spend before delayed payback drains its cash — the working-capital side of UA.

Acquisition is paid upfront; revenue arrives over months, and store payouts arrive later still. Scaling spend therefore increases the cash tied up in cohorts that have not paid back yet.

Modelling cash runway sets the maximum safe daily spend and bid cap for a given starting cash position, and shows how sensitive that is to payback speed and payout delays.
