Definition

Blended ROAS.

ROAS averaged across all campaigns, markets and cohorts — useful for reporting, but able to stay healthy while the newest spend loses money.

Blended ROAS combines mature cohorts, strong markets and new spend into one number. Because older cohorts keep generating revenue and stronger campaigns carry weaker ones, the blend can stay flat or improve while the economics at the edge of scale deteriorate.

Use it to report the portfolio. Do not use it to decide whether the next budget increase is worth making — that is a marginal question.
