Definition

Creative concentration.

When an ad algorithm pushes a large share of spend onto one creative — so that creative’s promise, accurate or not, shapes the whole incoming cohort.

Ad platforms do not spread budget evenly; they pour spend into whatever creative wins the auction on cost. If that creative over-promises or shows a late-game mechanic, blended early retention can drop without anything in the game changing.

The diagnostic is in the MMP: pull retention by creative or ad group where the network passes it, and compare the newly scaled asset against the baseline.
