Store conversion rate.

Also called: Store CVR, Page conversion

The share of store page visitors (or impressions) who install — the storefront’s efficiency at turning attention into installs.

Formula Store CVR = Installs ÷ Product page views

App stores report conversion from product page views and, separately, from impressions. Improving it lowers effective acquisition cost for both organic and paid traffic.

A higher conversion rate is not automatically better if it brings the wrong players. Screenshots that show a late-game mechanic can convert well and set an expectation the first ten minutes cannot meet. Judge store tests on downstream retention where you can.
