Definition

Data maturity.

Whether a cohort’s data is complete and settled enough to support a decision — attribution delays, revenue lag and small samples all make early data immature.

Spend and installs are readable within hours; retention, revenue and payback need cohorts to age. Attribution postbacks arrive late, especially on iOS, and ad revenue data settles after a lag. Acting on day-two numbers as if they were final is one of the most common growth mistakes.

A simple discipline: define, per decision, which metrics and cohort ages are required before acting, and size interim decisions to what the available evidence can support.
